GRUNTS

Here are a couple of related doodles from today; I quite enjoy drawing with a Bic pen.

I need to work on environments.

Next time.

Harley Quinn

Fun character to draw. I'd think I'll do a full color one of these days.
For now; just a couple of sketches.

More Dick Tracy

Just a note reagrding the Dick Tracy pic; it was inspred by this week's
BSSChallenge topic: Favorite Comic Strip character.

When i was in like 5th grade, I had to give an oral report (i know—I said oral). My subject was how to draw cartoons, more specifically newspaper comics (Blondie, Marmaduke, Snoopy, etc.). I had forgotten about that untill I saw this weeks topic.

Big deal.

New drawing, but it could use a more interesting
composition.

Monkey Redux

Well, thought I might've done a better job with the
Wizard of Oz flying monkey so i made another one.

It's ok, except for the monkey's gigundus hand and the
scarecrow's right arm, which should be in another position.

OCTOBER 30

Blue Sky Studios Challenge this week: a Wizard of Oz Character.
The scene where the monkeys rip apart the scarecrow always
frightened me.

As a youth; you know. I mean, now, of course not, but then? Whhoooofah.

GHOULISH!

Watched tv alot this weekend. I guess I was inspired
by the Jets performance and the Fright Fest-type stuff on.

Not that I'm scaredy-fraid or anything.

A Kick to the Face

Yeowchie! A kick to the mush can't be so pleasant.

I don't know if I'll ink this drawing yet.
Yesterday's News

Here are a couple of quickies from yesterday. More today?

Perhaps.

Perhaps no.

Blue Sky Studios Challenge

I don't work for BSS, but I have created an entry
for their weekly challenge. The official
entries are always great.
You can view them here: http://bsschallenge.blogspot.com/

Here's mine for this week. The subject: Halloween!

Alien Invasion
Slimy. Creepy. Aliens are hot.
Catching Up

I was looking through some older sketchbooks
to find some content. Here's one.
Zombie + Cowboy = Fun.

Hence the Name

Here are a couple of simian sketches. Ball-point pen style.

Here's another. He's just a wee octopus.

Okay, let's get some of the drawings up.
Here's a pumpkin-headed guy.

I like the sweater and the digits.
Who dosen't love a good doodle of a monkey. I mean, really.
